The beauty edit for when the Sun comes out If you are after a fresh look and feel, then you’d enjoy most of the product from this edit! I like to update my beauty routine to feel the change in the season. My days are often packed with different activities, they are active and sometimes long too, so I choose my product to feel and look fresh whatever is on my agenda.

The refreshing fragrance in your beauty edit
L’Occitane has launched a new fragrance. HERBAE par L’OCCITANE FRAGRANCE is a green, fresh and floral scent.
From bottle design to the choice of ingredients, HERBAE tickles all the boxes. When you hold it and spray it, the fragrance feels current. The spicy notes of pink peppercorn and bergamot help to bring out the freshness of the citrus and herbs. HERBAE will make a perfect day scent for summer as it is fresh enough to wear it with comfort in the heat (let’s hope we will get some this season) and intense enough to leave a trail.
A face wash with a zing!
You will love the Carrot Face wash from the Body Shop, which came back into stores by popular demand, so I had to include it in the beauty edit. The range is made of wonky carrots sourced from a family run farm here in the UK. The Body Shop is using the carrots which wouldn’t sell in the supermarket to minimise waste. The formula feels light and refreshing, and it does the job. I’ve been enjoying using it recently. It comes as a thick gel, so you don’t need to use a lot of it. 10 out of 10 for the face wash.
The Ultimate Bamboo Moisturiser.
Light, fresh, mattifying and replenishing. Erborian Bamboo Crème Frappèe has a beautiful texture, which delivers enough hydration but helps to keep even oily and grumpy skin balanced. After all the years I have been working in beauty and writing about beauty this face moisturiser is one of my top favourites, one I’d replace. I love it for the feel on the skin. I enjoy the result it gives. My skin never reacts to it, and it has been more balance too.
Your skin will absorb it instantly without leaving any film on the surface, and any makeup goes on like a dram.
Sun Protection because you can’t have summer beauty edit without it.
Choosing only one product to share with you in this category is hard because I use a few depending on my needs. However, last season, I discovered EVY Technology SPF30 primer. It has a non-greasy texture, and you only need a small amount. You dispense it as a mousse, so for the most straightforward application, rub it in your fingers and then apply to your face. A little goes a long way. Your skin won’t feel sticky, and you still can wear makeup on.
A gentle complexion enhancer.
I think naturally beautiful and healthy skin is the sexiest. My skin has been a lot better since I’ve seen Dr John Tsegaris too, so I’m showing it off with pride. If you visited SocialBeautify before you won’t be taken by surprise that my product of choice to enhance the skin is CC Cream by Erborian. I have been using it for over a year and love it just as much now as I loved it when I tried it the very first time. I reach for it more than ever during the summer months as I like to wear even less makeup. It gives even skin with a baby glow a slightly even out skin texture. This CC Cream also has SPF 25, so if you are outdoors for only a short period, then you won’t need to worry about any additional protection.
