How to create a French Style hair bun without a single pin!

After fiddling for 10 minutes with my hair, my heart rate is starting to rise. My arms are aching! I’m starting to get frustrated! Surely it can’t be so hard! Starting from scratch again… Oh crap! Let’s just stick to hair down!

This Is the typical scenario whenever I was trying to pin my hair up in a French style hair bun.

It looks so easy when my sister is doing it, yet I can never get it right! If this sounds remotely familiar keep reading because I’m going to show you a cheat for the perfect French Style Hair bun. It will change your life!

You might be laughing now, thinking that it’s a doddle to pin hair up, but truly it depends a lot from your hair type. When your hair is dead straight no matter what, it starts to be a bit more of a challenge. I’m talking about hair that doesn’t need straighteners or blow drying to be slick and straight. Hair that never gets knots. Hair that you can forget to comb for a day or two and probably no one will notice. Try to pin this lot up! Tricky, especially if you’re getting ready for work. When you don’t have all the time in the world to fiddle with a hair style. Or patience!

How to do it without a single pin?

Sit comfortably, maybe even with a cup of brew of your choice because you’re about to see some magic happening!
Remember when I told you about the amazing hair Accessories from Alexandre the Paris? Yes, those French pretty combs and pins I got so addicted to. Alexandre De Paris makes this large comb purposely designed to pin your hair up in a French bun. I picked one up during the sale and even though I was hopeful I wasn’t expecting miracles!

But…

Miracles do happen! – and tricks of the trade

I gave it a go and pined my hair up with a couple of swift movements! My first ever French Style hair bun looked epic and it took me less than a minute to do. You need one of those Alexandre de Pari Large Combs in your life, you’ll thank me later!

You’re armed now, but you also need to know, what to do with your hair to make the most of your tool! I filmed for you this super quick tutorial showing you two ways of styling the French Bun using the large comb from Alexandre de Paris. First technique works best on fine and slick hair and the second works on all hair, even really thick and curly. You’ll be gobsmacked how simple and easy it is.
Enjoy!

I hope this has excited you about the possibilities of changing your hairstyle easily, making your everyday look polished and elegant. When it comes to the Alexandre de Paris and the Large Come, I hope it’ll change your hair styling options just as much as it changed mine.
