Everlasting Foundation+ SPF15 review.

Everlasting Foundation +

New Everlasting Foundation+ is a younger sister to Everlasting Foundation. I used to love Everlasting Foundation when it first launched a few years back. You could tell there was some makeup on, but it always lasted all night long! Even when I was dancing to the 80-es rhythms until the early hours of the morning.

Dancing Away

Now Clarins has updated this formula to make even better product. The new Everlasting Foundation+ SPF15.

What’s new in Everlasting Foundation+?

  •  An invisible microfilm of new generation silicones – 100% natural powders to deliver day-long matte coverage.
  •  The High Fidelity System also ensures that the colour pigments are evenly distributed giving even colour all day long.
  • Bamboo Powder has mattifying properties which give exceptional hold and minimises the appearance of dark spots, imperfections and redness.
  •  Organic quinoa seed extract to help reinforce the skin barrier to help maintain the skin’s supple and hydrated appearance.

Your daily shield.

Living in London means I’m quite aware of pollution, so I’m always happy to see anti-pollution ingredients in the formula. This one has also anti-free radical and 100% mineral UVB -UVA protection, meaning it’s makeup that’s good for your skin.

I found it just a bit easier to blend than its older version. Coverage is full but you can still build up a bit more on the areas of unevenness. I had the impression that Everlasting Foundation+ does look a bit more natural than its older version, as if the layer of product was thinner but still resulted in the same even complexion.

The finish is matt and very smooth. Even though it’s matt it won’t give you tired looking dry skin. It felt very comfortable on the skin and lasted on my combination skin a whole day without retouching it. I’ve tested it a few times without using any powder on top to set it, and that’s how i liked it best.

Who Everlasting Foundation+ is best for?

Combination or oily skin types you’ll like it. It’s perfect if you’re looking for a base that’s going to keep shine away and have good lasting power. This might be the foundation for party animals to try out on nights out as it doesn’t get ‘cakey’ even after heavy dancing. :) Tried and tested in action! If you have dry skin try True Radiance foundation instead.

Some numbers.

New Everlasting Foundation + SPF15 comes in 10 shades. I’m using shade 105 (nude). It comes in a 30ml, bottle with a pump (which is a regular size for a foundation) and costs £27.50 It’s available from 15 February at counters and online.
