A couple of weeks ago Clarins launched it’s new Autumn Colour Collection: Ladylike!

After playing with it for a few weeks I’m going to take you through this collection. I have a video review for you at the ready so you can also see some of the products in action.

Before I get you all excited over pigments and textures, let me just have a moment and clap my hands in an applause for the new Instant Light Eye Perfecting Base.

Did you know that using an eye primer will make your makeup last all day long, stay in place and not smudge? Did you know eyeshadows are easier to apply and most looks more pigmented too when applied on top of eye primer? Trust me… eye primers will be a magic ingredient in your makeup routine!

This new primer has become my instant favourite, so I can promise you a full review on it soon. Stay tuned.

Cream eyeshadows with a WOW factor.

I’m loving this new cream to powder eyeshadow formula. It feels like nothing I’ve tried before. It feels somehow in between the traditional powder shadow and a good quality cream pot of eyeshadow when you touch it. When applied with a finger it’s easy to blend and dries to powder. The formula is enriched with a Bamboo powder, which gives a matt and even finish with a long lasting hold. But these shadows are lightweight enough so you’re able to blend them easily with a makeup brush. All the shades are earthy, which makes them look very elegant and natural. The cream pots are very pigmented though so the colour builds up very easily. These pots will be good to take your look from corporate to cocktails. I particularly love a shadow in 01 to create a perfectly fresh but bare looking eyelids and 05 to create a more mysterious smokey look for autumn. There are 8 different shades in the range priced at £19

Cream-to-Powder Clarins Eyeshadows

A must try in this collection!

The autumn eye palette for ladies.

Eye Quartet Mineral Palette

Soft shades of brown and beige make this pallet very universal. The dry or wet formula allows you to create understated day eyes or jazz your look with more deeper and darker shades when used with a wet brush. This is a perfect set if you like to keep your eyelids relatively light and use darker shades to smoke out the corners of your eyes. The matt formula will also look great on more mature eyes as it won’t enhance any lines or creases on the lids. Darker earthy shade’s will go well with autumn colours.

Here is my take on the official makeup look.

The multitasker

This little golden case holds one of the nicest brow kits I’ve tried. Not only is it equipped with all the products you need to keep your brows looking groomed, it has all the tools required to perfectly enhance your eyebrows. From brow colouring powders to setting wax. You’ll also find soft pink, which is you’d used underneath your brow arch to highlight. You should add this little kit to your makeup bag if you’re traveling a lot or you’re a girl on the go.

This is my other must try from Clarins.

Clarins has also released new lip colours for autumn, and an eye liner. The liquid liner pen has a unique end that allows you to mark the first area where the liner should go. This should make the application easy. I haven’t tried it yet but if you do, let me know what you think.

Below you’ll find a video review of the collection. You can see me recreating the look that promotes the Ladylike Clarins Collection for autumn 2014.

Enjoy.

Don’t forget to share this with your fiends! Thanks xx

You can find the entire collection on official Clarins web site or on Clarins counters nationwide.

Love this look! Could you please tell me which lipstick you are wearing in the video? Also I’m always looking for the perfect brown pencil eyeliner, do you have a favorite? Thank you

      Hi Tammy,
Thank you. I know we had a chat over on Instagram and Twitter but I thought I pop all the information here as well in case someone else who’s got similar questions stumble upon it.

The lipstick I’m wearing in this video is by Burberry and it’s no11 Antique Rose from the Soft Satin collection.
With the eyeliner I like soft but not too buttery. Try Double Wear for something long lasting or Clarins Khol for more sensitive eyes. Both are equally good.

      I hope this helps.
      Speak soon.
