The new app for beauty-craving gals!

Hurrah! Beauty bargains are at last accessible via your smartphone. (a beauty booking site) has launched a smartphone app for big girls, which makes booking beauty appointments a whole lot easier.

I can’t always plan when I’m able to have a cheeky manicure, how about you?

Finding a salon when you eventually have enough time can be a mission, especially if you’re out and about. This app gives you easy, on-the-go access to the thousands of salons and spas bookable on It also enables you to discover new venues, browse real time availability, read reviews from other customers and discreetly book future or last-minute appointments in just a few taps!

I just downloaded this app myself (it’s free from the Apple App Store) and I love the fact that you can use your current location to find a spa or a hairdresser. I moved house only a few months ago, so I still haven’t explored the area and this app found all the beauty services I need locally in just a few seconds.

Pick ‘n’ mix.

You can select a treatment type from nine options – including hair, nails and massage – or search by treatment or venue name. The app then delivers results from over 3,800 salons and spas across key UK cities based on proximity to your device or chosen location and there are apparently hundreds of new venues added every month to the database. Every salon and spa has its own venue page allowing you to view special offers and images, see address details and opening times, and find its location on a map.

You can also pay securely through the app, which stores your details safely for future speedy purchases. To make things even simpler, the ‘My venues’ function remembers the spas and salons you have recently visited, allowing you to book follow-up appointments in seconds.

Isn’t it great to see such a useful app for grown up girls? What a genius idea – don’t you think?!

You can download Wahanda’s app free from the App Store on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch at
