My last visit to the Chamonix valley was in February, during my skiing holidays. But this place has a lot to offer also during the summer months. Most people will come to the valley to go hiking, mountain biking or perhaps if your brave enough to climb Mont Blanc.
I came this time to Les Houches to relax, breathe fresh mountain air and admire the amazing views. The weather was spoiling me with temperatures around 30 degrees Celcius. I enjoyed wearing my summer clothes, letting the sun caress my skin. I forgot how it feels when it’s really, really hot.
I planned to do a lot of writing, thinking that the amazing surroundings will be very inspiring but ended up being lazy for most of the week. The splendid views put me in quite a dreamy mood. It was very surreal at times feeling boiling hot and at the same time looking at the mountains covered with a thick layer of snow. Eventually I pulled myself together and managed to relax and blog, so don’t worry there are some very interesting blogs to follow.
