There aren’t many Benefit products in my makeup bag which I use daily. However I did get a little bit excited when ‘Fake Up’ was released, so I took my Boots Advantage Card and got Fake Up in fair.
It’s a combination of a canceler and an eye cream. Yes, you’ve guessed right, it’s the best for under eye area.
I really like its creamy texture. Fake Up does hides darkness under my eyes and leaves my skin hydrated. In my opinion, a well hydrated under eye area is very important. The skin under your eyes is much thiner than the rest of your face and so it’ll dehydrate quicker. For me, a corrector or canceler applied on the under eye area with dry skin will look horrendous and give very ageing result. Possibly drawing more attention to your eyes for wrong reason.
Even when I use Fake Up later on in the day, when my skin is a bit dehydrated, Fake Ups hydrating power is absolutely enough to keep my under eye area looking smooth. I haven’t found it creasing or rubbing off. It also has a nice dewy finish.
I draw a V shape under my eye and than use a foundation brush to blend.
I’m not going to be writing an essay on this product. It’s a canceler and it’s good. I like it despite the fact that I usually prefer cancelers that have a very lightweight texture. I’ve also been using it every day since I got it, which is a good indicator that I’m really happy with the results.
It comes in 3 shades. I’m using fair, which is the lightest one. It costs £18.50.
