The Baukjen Leighton dress.

Leighton Dress - Social Beautify

A day dress was on my wish list but I usually go out shopping rather than surf the web. A couple of dresses did however catch my attention on the Baukjen website. Being encouraged by some lovely service during my styling session I’ve decided to order a dress. The style I’ve chosen was different from what I’d usually go for, but I really wanted something different to what I already have and less formal than most of my dresses.

I suppose the style is a bit different than what I thought it may be but it does look nearly the same as it does on the website. I like the fact the material (cotton) is thick and heavy, what makes the dress hang nicely.

I was looking for a dress that’s going to be comfortable and soft on my skin. A dress that I can wear to meetings but that’s going to be also perfect for an ‘action woman’ kind a day. A day when my schedule is busy. I was looking for something casual that can be easily dressed up and this dress ticked all the boxes.

Although it’s not what I would usually go for, I really like wearing it and I feel comfortable in it. I’ve been out and about wearing this dress and I love the fact it doesn’t crease.

In my opinion this cut could work well if you’ll looking to hide a bit of a belly or hips.

This is my take on the dress. I hope you like it.

I’m  wearing it with:

belt – Mango (a couple of seasons ago)

heels – Ted Baker – bought them 2 years ago

Tights – Wolford my favourite tights are from Calzedonia though.

Lipstic – L’ Absolube Rouge 132 by Lancôme

To transform this look to something more casual and appropriate for running around London I’d change shoos; to pumps or boots.
