I’m a bb cream addict and that’s a fact! I’m constantly thriving to achieve a smooth and even complexion that doesn’t show that there’s a product enhancing its appearance. I’ve tried quite a few different bb creams now. Some I thought were better than others. There’s quite a selection available on the market at the moment. If you haven’t noticed yet, theres kinda a theme for bb creams at the moment. No surprise then that I simply couldn’t resist and had to try the new Dior’s BB Cream from their Diorskin Nude range.
There are only 3 shades in the range. It has SPF 10 and PA+. I have shade 002 which is at the moment a little bit warmer that my complexion but no 001 was very pale. I probably will end up using it in the spring and summer when I get a bit of tan.
After using Lancôme, Laura Mercier, No7, Garnier, Dermalogica bb cream or tinted moisturiser… this one toped the list and became my favourite.
I love its texture, which is light but hydrating. BB Cream from Dior will keep your skin looking hydrated and plumped but not shiny. It has a velvety finish whilst at the same time it doesn’t look dry or too matt. I’m very pleased with the finish and coverage of Dior’s BB Cream. It’s obviously light as most bb creams will be but at the same time it has just enough covering power to even out the skin and hide any imperfections and small blemishes. It also wears very well. My skin would not look shiny even after hours of wearing it and it didn’t look like it had rubbed off.
My motto for this season daily makeup look is “Bare Complexion Perfection’. I’m in love with Dior, my current no.1 BB Cream… very closely followed by Garnier for Oily and Combination skin which is exceptionally good (also price-wise) but more of matt finish as it’s designed for combination to oily skin.
I’ve been recently using Teint Visionnaire foundation which I really love but I can’t wait for some sun to come out and add some colour to my skin and my Dior Beauty Balm to go on. I’d love to have my healthy glow back!
Dior’s new BB Cream is £30 for a 30ml
I hope this was helpful. I’m sure there will be more bb crams in the future I’ll review for you. :)
