Speed beauty event by Kilpatrick PR.

Last week I attended the “Speed Beauty Event” organised by Kilpatrick PR. Held in a stylish suite of The Haymarket hotel, with a small audience it had such a great family feel to it. I met some lovely bloggers there and I had a chance to try some products out. One of them was shimmer in a can “Airbrush Illuminiser ” by ModelCo. I’ve tried to take a picture of it on my arm but I’m not too happy with how it came out. It’s great if you are planning on showing your skin this summer as it looks very shimmery and quite natural, not to glittery or sparkly. It is perfect to add a radiant glow to your skin.

There were also some tanning products featured, which I’d never really heard about as I’m not really into the self tanning business. However, after having a closer look, I’m possibly going to give them a go. It’s the instant tanning mousse and shimmering self tan which has a light gel texture with a subtle shimmer to it and it’s tinted so you can see where you are applying it. It gives your skin a bit of colour instantly but it will still develop on the skin. I thought those two could work magic on those pale legs of mine that hardly ever see the sun.

That’s not all. There was one product in particular that I got very excited about as I have heard a lot of good reviews about it. The product is RapidLash. This product is clinically proven to nourish your eye lashes in the way that they are able to grow to their full potential. I’m very excited about this product and I’ll be doing a diary blog over a period of at least 6 weeks, it takes time for any treatment to show the results. I will be taking pictures regularly to make sure you all can see the results. This year the company also launched RapidBrow for nourishing your eye brows, which is supposed to be equally as good.

We all had a chance to have a look and play with some make up tools, which I’m trying out at the moment and I shall let you know how I’m finding them soon.

Last, but not least, I have also met the lovely Louise Page – celebrity make up artist, beauty writer and TV presenter- and she put some amazing fake eye lashes on me that just looked fabulous and made my eyes pop out instantly. The lashes Louise picked for me looked so natural you wouldn’t even be able to tell I had them on but they made such a difference. It took Louise about five seconds to do it! Not like myself, half an hour in front of the mirror trying to stick them on. It was a shame to take them off later when going to bed.
I hope I will have a chance to work with Louise in the future :) here is the link to her page if you would like to learn more about Louise.

I had a jolly good time at the “Speed Beauty Event” as everyone was super friendly and so passionate about what they do. I met quite a few lovely bloggers too.
Thank you Kilpatrick PR for making it such a fun evening and for allowing Social Beautify to attend.
