L’Occitane has launched new hydrating rang ‘Aqua Reotier’, and you should get very excited about it. Designed with skin thirst quenching in mind the products complement one another giving you at your disposal beautiful skincare collection. The range comes in time for the summer, but skin hydration shouldn’t be only a thing of summer.
Keep it simple but not too simple.
It is incredibly satisfying to look in the mirror and see supple and smooth skin. That kind of skin that doesn’t get the pillow mark on it for half an hour after you wake up. Always in search for best hydrating skin care, I put to test new L’Occitane Aqua Reotier collection.
Gret skin is not all about the looks though. Well, hydrated skin often equals well-balanced skin. For example, if you have oily skin, it’s essential to keep its moisture level optimal. Otherwise, your skin might produce more oil to compensate for lost moisture. You shouldn’t skip your moisturiser but make sure you are using a correct texture for your skin type.
The sensorial experience. All the textures
There are two moisturisers in the range one for normal or dry skin and the other for oily skin. First has light cream texture the later has lightweight gel texture. You can also mix things up and like me use the cream in the evening as a night cream. Then choose the lighter gel texture during the day.
In addition to the moisturisers, there is a facial cleansing gel and hydration essence. I love the essence. It feels like a runny gel toner which melts into your skin upon application. It instantly quenches thirsty skin. It makes my moisturiser go further as my skin is already hydrated I don’t feel like I need to use so much of cream.
The smell is gorgeous. Although I’d expect it from L’Occitane product, I still love it every single time I put any of the products on my skin. It’s strong enough to notice yet gentle to vanish soon and don’t irritate.
The range that is both effective and within a budget.
Price wise L’Occintane won’t break your bank balance, so it’s much easier to invest in the entire range to benefit from a regime. Moisturisers are £28, which is quite reasonable, don’t you think?
A month on the L’Occitane ‘Aqua Reotier’ range.
I got hooked because I love how it makes my skin feel. I find those textures spot on and my skin been enjoying it too. I had much clearer and glowing skin recently.
I usually double cleanse. First I remove my makeup with the cleansing oil. I like to use one from DHC skincare.
Next, I’ve been using the cleansing gel from L’Occitane and follow with the essence right after. I only use a tiny little drop of the essence. I never get along with tonners, because I don’t like fuffing with the cotton pads but this goes right on my fingers and straight to my skin. I like the hydration it provides. I’m seriously considering the essence as a long-term add on to my skincare routine.
Lastly, it’s time to apply the moisturiser. My skin is on the oilier side so I prefer the gel texture, but I do use the cream at night time.
I like both.
If this range sounds like something up your street I hugely recommend you to go and check it out because it’s been a long time since I got so excited about the hydrating skincare products.
