Moondust Eyeshadow Palette is a first of its kind palette from Urban Decay. This eye shadow palette came to life after the huge success of Moondust Eyeshadows. This new palette is loaded with eight all-new shades and is now available in stores and online.
Moondust Shadows and technology
In case you’ve never heard of them before, Moondust Eyeshadows from Urban Decay contain microfine bits of iridescent sparkle for a dazzling effect. They are the brand’s most intensely sparkly eyeshadows, which I find great blended gently on top of other shades. A great trick to change your makeup from day to night! They are there to be bold.
What’s in that sparkly box of Moondust Eyeshadow Palette?
If you’re an Urban Decay fan, you’ll be jumping with excitement because this pallet was long anticipated. As the brand says, “every shade in this palette is mind-glowingly sparkly’. Blimey, they are seriously sparkly but still with a soft feel. The effect you achieve is super sparkly, reflective, sometimes maybe even mirror like. You’ll find a good size mirror inside but no brushes, but honestly I don’t mind. I like to use my own brushes especially with such intense shades as these. To give the shadows that diamond like effect they contain microfine bits of sparkle and 3-D metallics.
The shades you’ll find in the box;
- soft pink with tonal sparkle
- peach with pink shift and sparkle
- purple with blue sparkle
- vibrant green with tonal sparkle
- gunmetal with multicoloured sparkle
- brown with iridescent 3-D sparkle
- bright blue with tonal sparkle
- smokey blue-grey with iridescent 3-D sparkle
The sparkle particles are so fine they won’t drop, but I mostly like to apply them with my fingers and just gently blend over my lid. However if you are after a more dramatic look simply dampen your brush and use them wet. This will give you an extra-intense colour, then blend out the edges with a dry brush to finish your look. I like to use a blender brush because it has soft bristles and does the job smoothly.
Look this way if you genuinely like a little bit of sparkle or to experiment with shades. Of course every shadow can be dolled down or dolled up but this palette is definitely here to help you create a show stopping makeup look.
