If you’ve found yourself thinking for a few weeks; ‘Where can I go and who you can I trust to cut my locks’, then you’re in the right place. Here’s how you gonna find an amazing hairdresser!
I just moved house – and cities! My hair was looking ratty and well overdue a haircut.
I was postponing it because moving house was enough trouble and I just wasn’t up for finding new hairstylist. Where do you start? Friend’s recommendations might be an option, but really it’s all abut finding someone who can understand your own personal taste and style. Someone who can see what suits you, not necessarily what’s trendy. You want the cut that will compliment your face, hair type and most of all, your personality.
Your best hairdresser could be just a click away at haircvt.co.uk.
I’ve been approached by haircvt.co.uk, a website that allows you to choose a salon and hairdresser and book your appointment via their service. It couldn’t have come at a better time. Because I was genuinely looking for a new hairstylist I could appreciate all the features of the website and judged it, just a every other woman who needs an excellent haircut would.
I logged into haircvt.co.uk and had a look.
There are 2 things about the website that really stood out for me, which I liked a lot.
- You can see images showing your chosen hairdresser’s cuts done on real clients. No editorial images, retouching or light tricks. You can instantly see what style they have and whether that’s something that you’d like too. You can judge if your hairdresser is giving everyone the same cut or genuinely making sure the hair is complimenting the client.
- Secondly you know how much it’ll cost you. I totally hate when websites don’t display prices on their services. It’s too much hassle to email everyone for prices or whatever.
A Haircut fit for a princess.
I went with Gielly Green salon on George Street in London W1. My hairdresser was William Hunt and he was fantastic at his job. You can find William’s profile by clicking here. He listened carefully to what I wanted and what I found most challenging when it comes to my hair and styling. When we were both on the same page and ready to go he sent me off to have my hair washed.
May I just stop here and point out that the washing basins in Gielly Green are so comfortable. I wished my head massage lasted for half an hour.
Before I knew it the cut was over. Now I have only healthy hair, which was instantly volumised by the style. William created some long layers for me too, to achieve a bit more bounce and movement without thinning my hair too much. He styled my hair giving me a curly blow dry, which gave my hair a gorgeous bouncy look, which I always envy.
I felt beautiful, sexy and totally happy about myself. I must have had a feel good aura around me afterwards, because I was approached later on by a handsome man, while shopping on Oxford Street, who tried to chat me up and asked me out! I was able to flash my engagement ring for the first time to politely say no. I’m 100% convinced it was the hair cut – and the way it made me feel that got me some male attention.
The haircvt.co.uk lists some of the best and most luxurious salons so don’t expect to find a hair cut for £30. You’ll be looking to spend £70+ for a good women’s haircut and blow dry, but you’ll look stunning when you leave the solon.
