If no fuss makeup and an all natural look sounds like something up your street then try Burberry London. Known for their iconic trench coat, Burberry shows us how to dress our skin and stay nude at the same time. Burberry beauty is all about a natural, immaculate and clean look.
Burberry makeup looks are understated. Models on Burberry billboards and makeup look books often appear with no mascara to achieve an even more natural look. The trick is in the complexion and fine enhancements with colour. As these looks lie in the core of Burberry’s image, they have a range of products to let you recreate this iconic look at home.
The trick to flawless skin!
So how do we create the perfect bare skin with Burberry?
Let’s start with complexion. Naturally healthy skin is smooth with a subtle glow. One of the best selling Burberry beauty products is Fresh Glow Fluid, which you’d apply under your foundation. This will make your skin look dewy and fresh.
There’s also a new Fresh Glow B.B. Cream, which is already infused with the Fresh Glow Fluid. If you have generally quite even skin, which doesn’t require too much concealing, this is a great product. Quick and easy to use. No only does it hydrate, it gives you the perfect amount of glow but also prefects your compaction a little. There are also a couple of foundations in the range, one that gives a radiant finish and one for a velvet finish. The second being my personal favourite.
All you need to do is choose the desired texture and finish to create a flawless complexion, letting it play the main part in this look.
The nearly invisible final touch!
Adding colour is the trickiest part in the nude look. We need to bring back some shape to our faces but the products should have lightweight texture and delicate pigment. That’s exactly what Burberry is good at.
Finish your look with a gentle sweep of a blusher and a pop of perfect nude on your lips.
Now Burberry is the place to shop for your nude lipstick. I’m totally addicted to the Lip Cover formula, it has a beautiful soft satin finish. Choosing your perfect ‘bare lips but better‘ shade is a fiddle with such a great variety of nude shades on offer. The formulas are creamy and hydrating. Packaging is luxurious and pretty! What’s not to love.
Here is my take on the Burberry Look. To give you some idea of the concept I paired my look with my trench, which by all means is not a Burberry trench. I wish :) I’m wearing my lovely Hobbs trench, my birthday present from Mr.D :)
To complete the look I’ve decided to use some Clarins products as this brand also stands by natural beauty so I thought it would be a great match.
I used Clarins new Ombre Matte eyeshadow in 01 from the new Autumn Collection. Cream blush Multi-Blush in 02. To finish this look I applied a tiny amount of The Classic Eye Powder Pencil from Charlotte Tilbury and a tiniest bit of High Impact mascara from Clinique.
