A classic black dress can be a real life saver. I have a couple of classic black dresses that I truly love but this one has saved me many times.
I bought it in Next for probably under £50. It’s a cotton dress but it’s quite thick so it looks nice and doesn’t really crease both while on me or in a suitcase.
I used the same dress in all the combinations and played with accessories to achieve three different outfits that I can wear for different occasions.
I hope this will inspire you to have a look what is in your wardrobe and how you can dress it up or down to make the most of it.
I didn’t want to use anything new, so all the clothes I use in this video look book, I already had in my wardrobe.
With the help of Mr.D I have filmed a short video showing you all the outfits and what changes I made to the dress.
Here it is. I hope you will enjoy it. It was lovely and sunny when I decided to film it but as soon as we got to the park the sun disappeared behind the clouds and it was freezing cold. So I ended up with blue lips, not a great look but I think it was worth it.
The cosy style.
I wore a fur gilet. It was a gift from my best friend, we picked it up in a small boutique near Portobello Road.
The Bag is from Nine West and it’s probably 10 years old.
