Does “This Works” really work?

Recently I bought a couple of “This Works” products as all the natural ingredients and the name behind the brand -Kathy Phillips tempted me. Kathy Phillips used to be Health and Beauty editor for Vogue for many years.

The products have won many awards and had good reviews. I thought I should give them a go and try two products that I always expect a lot from and most of the time I am disappointed. So I have tried “This Works” hand cream and foot balm.

‘Perfect hands intense moisture’ by This Works (£18) has a great smell of essential oils (blend of Rose and Mimosia), which I like although it is quite intense just after the application. The cream is absorbed very quickly so it’s fantastic for daily use. My hands sometimes feel extremely dry, therefore I probably would like it to be a bit more nourishing but overall I am happy with this product. It’s now my number 2 hand cream just after the L’Occitane ‘Shea butter hand cream’(£17.50).

The foot balm ‘perfect heels rescue balm’ (£15) helps to prevent and repair cracked heels and dry feet. I absolutely love the rich formula of this balm. It just feels fantastic when I put it on and the skin on my feet feels soft and deeply nourished. It also absorbs very quickly. This has now become my number 1 foot care product.

On top of the two products above, I had a chance of trying ‘skin deep dry leg oil’ (£38), which is just amazing. It’s a very nourishing, smells fabulous and leaves the skin on your legs moisturised and looking great all day. This product can be used all over your body not only on your legs.
